So I recently bought the shield version of this game and need just about all of the sword specific pokemon for the pokedex. Apparently when sword and shield were first released it was a lot easier to do link trades as reddit had codes and people could just wait on someone else to link with them...

You can change the date and time of the switch in systems to make certain Pokémon spawn in certain areas. YouTube has a bunch of these videos to find specific ones. Or you can set up a link trade with 8 digits and trade with someone. I hope this helps.
