DQ11 is definitely a good place to start :) They're almost all their own standalone thing I think outside of the original 3 which has a story arc between them I believe.

Anxiety

It is pretty fun once you get people together and coordinate things. I only have one buddy who's interested right now, so we've been sticking to the smaller maps. The asylum map seems overwhelming even for 2 people since it's so huge!
