I haven't updated to the latest firmware because I've read about people having issues with friend lists, the UI lagging, and some people even complaining of bricked consoles. And if you don't update to the latest firmware, you can't use the PS Store. So I figured I'd try buying something on the PS Store from my PC but I can't log in because of the following error :
