I've read that you can turn off the haptics if you want to. I wonder if the battery life would increase if you do that.
The PS4 Dual Shock 4 controller has the stupid LED that I wish we could turn off. A modder was able to do that and the battery life of the controller was extended significantly.
UPDATE: The results of the test are in: Steel you can also update the OP that the LED disabled controller died sometime last night. It was at 1 bar at just past midnight last night, and when I checked on it at 10am it was dead. So the LED disabled controller lasted somewhere between 26 and 36...
