Anyone ever played the old A51 game? Personally loved the first one never played the sequel though. Anyhow hope they eventually make another.

Old Area 51 like the arcade game or the PS2 game? Regardless, yes. Blacksite: Area 51, the sequel, was also pretty solid, mostly because it got the gameplay generally right while having the perfect B-movie kind of presentation.

Never played Blacksite sadly though makes me think of the old Black game which I loved personally

Yeah. It started off as an arcade cabinet game. Gameplay's like House of the Dead, Carnevil, VirtuaCop, etc. Except in Area 51.

Blacksite wasn't really reviewed all that well, and it's true that it did release with a lot of glitches, there's just something about sci-fi B-movie feel of it that I can't help but love.

Did see the terrible reviews and found them sad as I loved the first game
