Death of Threads

I've noticed and I'm sure some of the older forum members have noticed as well asteady decline in participation when it comes to comments or replies in threads so my question is what can be done to improve threads to make them more inclusive so that you all join in unless there's only like 7 of us then it's fine we're reaching our target. Any tips will be appreciated or this poor thread will just be a statistic

Polls are always good. I find those will at least get people to vote and depending on the poll there is usually at least a few responses.

We lack users. Maybe word of mouth, use of social media, or asking some streamers to help to guide some traffic this way would be beneficial.

True talk. Seems as if you guys that joined early were pretty lucky. You got a lot of engagements because threads were still hot

the only thing i can think of are forum game threads besides the word association one. Forum games like mafia could get more participation from the current members but that's probably it's only effect

I go through random spurts of posting because I've just got a lot of things going on.

That said, more games could get more attention on the forum. Also, just more advertising of the forum to people who aren't a part of it could improve the reach of both the site and the forums, which would make it more active.

Maybe having a few more forum categories would help engage new people too once they're here?

For example, maybe a section focused on fighters and a section for MOBA focused topics, etc? I think that could also help with SEO too for discoverability on Google.

I really like this forum as a new user, it feels like there is MUCH less negativity here compared to some of the bigger gaming forums I've been to.

That alone is a huge breath of fresh air
