I played a bit of skyrim and a bit of witcher 2 and just the tutorial of witcher 3 and I like the combat in witcher better but skyrim's open world and first person view seems more immersive. I'm actually more of a dark souls fan, which is irrelevant to this topic, i guess šŸ˜

Personally did not like the DS games but to each their own. Loved both these games though probably would say can not decide which I liked better. W3 did have great combat though lacked true flying creatures as even the Gryphons mainly stayed on the ground which I found weird. SkyRim I loved because it had endless content.

Oh yeah, I remember watching gameplay videos of the gryphon fight in witcher 3. You're right, it stayed on the ground for the whole fight . I didn't like souls games at first when i tried it but it grew on me. I remember playing DS2 for the first time and thought it was so boring. The combat was too slow and movement was sluggish but I forced myself to play more and i was hooked

Some of those gryphons were pretty damn hard to kill though. Possibly the most hard part I found at least was after the DLC with plants that spit acid. They were so spot on with their shots

I loved how in W3 you could cut enemies in half etc. Definitely more gory than ES

I think the equivalent in europe is like 16+ or something haha. The european ratings have their own designations unlike the ESRB iirc

I know many in other countries get 14+ which is bizarre but apparently people in USA can not act mature enough. At least I believe it is 14+

I remember getting totally wrecked on Skyrim once I had like 3 extremely high level dragons attacking me at once

I forgot to mention that skyrim created the arrow in the knee meme and also FUS-RO-DA! That might make it more culturally significant in terms of internet meme culture
