Well considering it's supposed to be a prequel to the games of course he looks young but still he looks great. All that matters though is how good the end result is.
He does, but if you think about who better to play Nathan, Tom does have that charisma that the character needs.All Games Delta

He actually seems to fit the role better than I expected. I'm hoping this will end up being solid!

Not that it's always the case. There's at least a handful of decent ones out there
Silent Hill was pretty solid in my opinion as an example! I can sort of understand the sentiment though. I hope it turns out well.
I think I'd like to see an indie director with a smaller budget and a ton of drive take on an adaptation of a game someday to see what happens when a video game movie is made by someone who isn't beholden to execs/shareholders who don't try to twist the film into something generic or untrue to the source material.
Maybe even an adaptation of an indie game like Limbo would be cool!
