Modern Warfare has a huge reverse-boosting problem in public matches

SBMM in games such as this only rewards the players of a lower skill set. This lower skill set is most likely due to less hours in the game. Therefore you are intentionally making it less enjoyable for the people who actually sink a lot of their life in to this game.
Winning in this game provides no benefit. Every time you win the lobby gets harder. The wins become more and more distant, removing the buzz that every player strives for.. a win. Warzone's whole concept is to be the last player standing at the end. Being good at the game just makes this harder and harder.
Also it causes you to be matched against people who are your level and not necessarily base the matching on ping, which can inherently group you with players with a much better advantage.
Myself for example, I now have many friends that play this game with the majority of them below me in stats. I wouldn't say I am amazing, but I can hold my own. They have the same amount of wins as me, which is not down to their play style, as we tend to have the same tactics due to us having played a large amount of BR's together in the past. The majority of the tactics they use are ones I have instilled in to them. To the outside these win stats now look comparable, but how can they be? It would be like saying my local football team and Manchester United have the same amount of wins this season, therefore they must be as good as each other.
If there was some form of league, or visual representation as to the level you were playing at, then fair enough, but we have nothing like this. Would also stop streamers using this as it would be visible to their viewers what rank the streamer is currently playing at.
The lobbies I am currently in are too hard for me, but the addiction to this game has be spending more time in the Gulag than I do in my own bed.
Matchmaking is overall a way for the company to ensure revenue is not lost from the people who will occasionally play, but will end up destroying the count of hardcore players, who actually are the ones buying the other additions of the game (Skins etc).
Most of my friends who are of lower SBMM do not want to group with me anymore because they can't handle the lobbies we get put in to..
