As everyone knows, when you read your brain is set to be active while improving it. When you read it enhances the brain and helps your mind set in your daily activities, even gaming. I know I sounds boring but it's kinda fun if you're reading the right book.
Some interesting books you can read are;
  • To Kill a Mockingbird.
  • The Great Gatsby.
  • One Hundred Years of Solitude.
  • A Passage to India.
  • Invisible Man.
  • Rich Dad Poor Dad, etc.
Trust me when you read you'll improve not only your gaming skills but also your life.

In my experience, it's a bit more of a feedback loop. Gaming improves reading skills, which improves gaming skills, which improves reading skills. But it also depends on the games that you're playing. Story-heavy games are the key to that, because you might have already lived one of the stories that you're reading.

Yes I think so too, but you can also read to improve

Not disagreeing on that point. Just saying that they both have an effect on each other. I was reading at a college level before I even hit middle school, partially because of encouragement from family, but also because I had been playing through at least plays on what the required reading was trying to get across for years to come.

There were scientific studies that showed playing Tetris makes you more smarter.

It's never too late to resume reading books. Check out the Bartimaeus Sequence and Lockwood & Co. by Jonathan Stroud. Young fiction but short enough to not give you the excuse to drop them because the books are too long. Audiobooks are another way to get around reading - the audiobooks for the series I mentioned are free on Audible
