Xenogears Structure Arts Plastic Models Coming This March

Square Enix will release the first set of Xenogears Structure Arts plastic models, containing Gears like Weltall and Vierge, in March 2021.

They put out Xenogears figures but won't put out sequels for Xenogears

That said, I really want to get my hands on that Weltall figure

I have a feeling that what they'll do for Xenogears is remaking the games entirely under modern tech before they actually start making more sequels.

I wouldn't mind a remake along the lines of what the Moguri Mod did for FF 9. But if it's something like FF 7 Remake? No thanks. FF 7 Remake was thoroughly disappointing for me. When it stayed along with the original, it was great. The moment it started deviating, not only did the quality of the assets drop sharply, the quality of the game dropped too. I was sick of all the padding they managed to stuff in the game.

Only major issue I had with FF 7 Remake was the fact that they broke up the game into multiple individuals games. So we don't really know when the story will be complete. If done right, this could be incredible, but it could also backfire in remarkable ways.

That's why they are going the route of making this a completely different FF 7 altogether by changing the storyline.
