Hi all, I'm Niero. I help out at Daily Esports behinds the scenes on operations and in an advisory capacity. Basically everything you don't like about Daily Esports is probably my fault and the things you do like are Taha's ideas. I'm here to help with tech and helping the site grow into its full potential. We've made incredible progress in the last two years and hope to continue pushing forward.
About me? Eh, well let's see. I was born in cuba ... lived in panama and jamaica ... went to school in Florida ... started this other gaming website called Destructoid that I merged with a company in Canada ... and met my wife in San Francisco ... and now we live in Japan. Makes perfect sense, right? One of my hobbies is traveling obviously, and I've been to about 40 countries. Which sounds like a lot but when you go to Europe or the Caribbean you can literally be in a new country in a few hours without spending a fortune, so I did a few big backpacking trips like that before I got old and busted.
Anyway, life long gamer and Counterstrike fanboy. I used to play the hell out of Quake and Unreal Tournament ... yep, showing my age here. Really looking forward to Cyberpunk's release. I'm in the process or selling all my components so I can have a sick system to run it on, and putting some money aside to pick up an Xbox and PS5 when the come out later this year. This hobby's not cheap!
