Maybe! I could see digital conventions becoming far more commonplace when this whole plague situation is over and done with.
Actually, maybe even digital demos could be fun for some gaming events. I'm sure a platform like Steam would be willing to host them.
This takes me back to the days of the #unconference and all its derivatives. There is a very strong economical incentive to see this format reinvented in some sort of virtual forum.
