PS5 price

There are rumours of a PS event scheduled for the end of August or even the start of September that will be unveiling the price tag of both classic and the digital versions and pre-order details which are one of the most awaited news by PS fans, well if not the actual release. What are you expecting from the event? [if there even is an event]

Have any consoles in the recent past launched with more than one controller? I remember getting nintendo 64 like 20 years ago that did actually come with 2 controllers but that was years after its initial launch. That was my first console

I think on rare occasions some companies bundle with an extra controller

maybe since there are two versions, the digital one being most likely cheaper maybe our go-to console it could even be lower than the $500 if we're lucky.

you're likely to get two controllers when a console is reaching its end of cycle when they start selling console bundles just to get you to buy it

Yeah was overpriced but still a decent console. PS4 pricing was pretty fair

It is a pretty overpriced company so that is probably a good thing.

We think alike price may be a motivator but if possible i also want the disc version just old fashioned i guess

Only because they learnt from the backlash of what happened with the PS3 launch.

sony really nailed it with the ps4 launch. xbox one destroyed itself in the beginning

Before the pandemic I would have said the price would have been $499 and $399 for the two versions but now I think they'll do $599 and $499 because they want to control the supply more to handle part delays.
