Alright political response but I hear you
Not necessarily a political response. Pretty much the biggest things that I look at to support are 1) Does the hardware work? and 2) What are the services and what do they cost?

That part of the reason why I did kind of abandon the PS4 for a while as they started offering new services that were all under separate subscriptions while Microsoft was working on consolidating their gaming services under a single and affordable subscription. Sony has been working on fixing that as well as their security issues, so I'd be willing to go back to having both. Only reason I'd be getting the XSX or XSS first is because I'll be upgrading from the One S.

Hardware wise, the XSX is really damn powerful but sadly, none of the games that MS has shown showcases that power. Halo Infinite was a bad joke. The graphics were really bad and they are making the game as a GaaS model with a shelf life of like 10 years. I have a very bad feeling about games like this.

MS really needs to push the frontier in terms of exclusives and have games that can compete with Sony. Did anyone see an XSX game that compares at least in terms of visuals to a PS5 game shown?

Pricing is another issue. Sony learned the hard way pricing the PS3 at 600 dollars. Xbox One screwed up by coupling the gimmick Kinekt 2.0 and badly priced an underperforming console. Sony took this as a cue to price the PS4 lower than the Xbox One and Sony won the gen right from the get go. The exclusives they released this gen merely put the final nail in Xbox One's coffin.
You thought they would have learned from back when Sega went bankrupt but nuh-uh.
