not really but it would suck. Sure Square Enix or another company could make similar games maybe with less glitches
i doubt sony didn't know this was coming, they prob have something up their sleeve. But this deal will seriously bolster xbox preorders

Hopefully. Personally loved SkyRim but did have glitch problems on occasion and Fallout 4 for me was nothing but a beautiful glitchfest. Never beat FO4 do to glitches

I'm surprised at how low they got ZeniMax for I could see a bidding war going past $20 billion. Since I'm primarily a PC gamer this doesn't really affect me.

As a company they don't make that much but the properties they own when you add the potential movies and tv show possibilities and other underutilized areas and the cultural significance they already carry make $7.5 billion seam like a pittance.

edit: It's like Disney buying Star Wars for $4.5 billion they got lucky George wanted a quick sale because they sure get that for a steal. I could see Star Wars selling for $20 billion by itself and ILM going for $5 to $10 billion.

I don't really care about Bethesda games all that much. I do hate Microsoft. It has been clear to me they do not care about their users but somehow manage to get them to think they do. It's a lot like politics. Microsoft lies and does bullcrap and people praise them for it...

I've seen arguments lately about this not contributing towards a monopoly. That is completely false. The more companies one company buys up, it grows into a monopoly. There is literally nothing good about Microsoft buying Bethesda. This does nothing for the players at all. The only thing it does is give more control to Microsoft and money in the pocket of Bethesda old owner.

Players should not be praising this nonsense.
