It feels like the end is near for this era of EA and you can see that through their star wars games, moving away from Microtransactions

I highly doubt they'll win anything major. There is a difference between gambling and loot boxes and it's enough that EA won't have to pay them anything but they might have to do some sort of disclosure or something to make it less of a gamble.

I'm glad that there's more and more countries taking this practice on. EA seems to be very predatory to children in particular to push lootboxes (going by that set of ads that was published in magazine for kids a while back.)

Hopefully EA and other gaming companies will back off more on sketchy practices like this. DLC is one thing, but basically selling gambling and trying to lie to everyone's faces about it is gross.
