have you ever seen the gta 5 mods? There are recreations of older gta games using gta 5 graphics. Not bad imo
I just saw a vice city mod in gta 5 with high definition rendering of candy. She looks so much better lmao
To return to the original topic, yes. There will eventually be a GTA 6. They're just not done improving and expanding things for GTA5 yet because it's still a hugely successful game. But yes. GTA6 will be for next gen consoles. And it's mostly because by the time it's even announced, any cross-gen support will have dwindled to nothing, especially since pretty much all of the current gen consoles are no longer in production, so it wouldn't make sense to develop for consoles that won't have a growing install base anymore.
Also, someone shared a link claiming that the developers bought the domain for GTA Vice City Online. If it was the developers, it could mean that they were coming out with another GTA Online, but not necessarily GTA6. It could also suggest GTA6 might return to Vice City, but that doesn't necessarily mean they will do it or that they are anywhere close to announcing just yet. The other thing that could happen is someone purchased the domain to try to get Rockstar to purchase it from them while essentially forcing Rockstar's hand into announcing.
If they remade Vice City, I can think of ways where that would work, but I sincerely doubt they'll remake a game. They'd probably return to the Vice City story, kind of like what they did with GTAV when they returned to Los Santos. Hopefully though, they expand the world more rather than relying on Los Santos, Vice City, or Liberty City.
i will launch a bring back candy su*** petition if they return to vice city unless it's a future timeline where she's like a middle aged woman

Imagine Catalina from GTA SA as a main charactera female as one of the main characters would be cool in the new gta. I really like candy from vice city lol but having someone with her profession as a main character would definitely tilt feminists and social justice warriors

Right. Anyhow that would be awesome if Rockstar made something like Skyrim
anything is possible they could do that between GTA V online and waiting for RDR to die out something of that kind would be well received i think, unless they do a part 2 of Bully which some people have been asking for, for quite some time
