I'm fairly certain the phyrexians have moved planes multiple times before. They invaded dominaria. They also made there way into Serra's own personal relm. They have the power of portal ships.
The dragon formerly named Nicol Bolas isn’t dead, he is trapped in the Prison Realm and nameless. Think Prince in the 90’s. Ugin is his jailer there until he dies of natural causes or the Megaversal Governor calls and commutes his sentence. Other than that, great article!
Phyrexians were notorious for jumping planes, actually. In *The Thran* Yawgmoth used Thran technology and the help of a planeswalker to go from Dominaria to an uninhabited plane where he created the phyrexians. From there phyrexians would continuously attempt to invade Dominaria until their eventual near-eradication at the hands of Urza and Karn. Then Karn basically tracked phyrexian oil into his artificial plane Mirrodin on the bottom of his shoes, which turned all of the inhabitants into phyrexians and turned that plane into New Phyrexia. From there there were more plane wide invasion schemes, but we haven't heard from them since.
I’m not a judge, but I don’t believe his abilities would affect number of loyalty PW’s get for activating their abilities as that is a cost, and they are not being put on them, similar to how Doubling Season only affects the number of Loyalty counters PWs get when entering the battlefield, but not activating abilities.

The last time the Phyrexians were able to move planes freely was before the Mending that made it so non Planeswalkers are no longer able to move from Plane to Plane, so they would need some sort of catalyst now, but who knows what that will be for sure.
Not sure the OPs planeswalker idea works quite as you've written. Activating PWs is a costx not an abilty.
The "cost" vs. "ability" distinction matters for Doubling Season because DS specifies the counters must come from an "effect" (which a cost is not).
Vorinclex's wording has no such restriction. He doesn't care whether it's a cost or an effect that produces counters. So he does in fact work on PW abilities.
