Hi, I'm not actually sure what this section is since there are no posts and no stickied threads explaining it. lol

I'm 42 years old. I love video games. I stream sometimes. I used to stream a lot but it eventually broke me down. Now I stream very rarely. I stream a lot of different games. My stream is mostly a dead place to be. My community is absolutely amazing. I have made the best and coolest of friends on Twitch. But as to be expected, they can't always be at my streams.

One small reason of many that I stopped streaming as much is how demoralizing and depressing it is to be in a stream alone. That's nobody else's fault. I've never been able to figure out what I can do to change that. I've tried literally everything. No biggy, though. At this point I'm used to it. It still sucks but I'm used to it.

I am older than most gamers out there. I know I'm not the oldest but there's definitely a general younger audience. I have a different mentality now being older. I still feel like myself but I know I'm different. The reason I'm saying this is so you might understand that my stream attitude may be different than other streamers you're used to.

I'll check out your channel. I might start trying to stream when the next gen consoles come out. So, if your instincts are right, I'll be posting my channel up soon-ish.

Also, you're actually in one of the biggest blocks of gamers out there. At least according to the ESA. If I remember correctly, the biggest segment of the population of gamers are between the ages of 25-45.

Cool. lol That's a pretty broad demographic. I'd say at least 80% of the viewers that have stopped by my streams over the years have been teenagers. I'm okay with that. It can just be awkward sometimes in conversations. Half my regulars are around my age.

Trust me. I work in an academic library for a living. At least half of the people I work with and supervise (when I'm supervising student staff), are half my age. That can make things interesting.

I like a large variety of games but these years I prefer faster paced ones. I don't usually play strategy/rts or turn-based rpgs anymore.

I recently played Marvel's Avengers and Ghost of Tsushima and I forget what else. I'm planning to stream the Mafia remaster, Super Mario Allstars (the new Switch one), Watch Dogs Legion, and Outriders when they all come out.

Sometimes I also read comic books on stream.

I had actually taken an unplanned break from streaming not long after posting this.
