I miss the old days when backwards compatibility was still a thing but I'm excited to see what the ps5 will bring to the table I'm hoping one of the ps4 games they make backwards compatible is Ark Survival evolved such a good game but sadly the ps4 could not handle the graphics and gameplay smoothly here's hoping.

This is not cool. The ps3 and ps2 would be forgotten very soon if things continue like this. Sony has started forgetting their roots. Those consoles made them for God's sake

It's not a major deal breaker for me as I still have my PS3 and PS2. In fact I still need to finish some classic games on those.

You've got a working PS2 and PS3 now, technology ages and breaks down. That's part of the value of backward compatibility. You have access to what's coming and what else you might discover from previous generations, but you also don't lose access to what you have.

That's true but if need be emulation keeps on making leaps and bounds too. đź’»

I get the technology would be costly to make an emulator for ps5 but I hope they bite the bullet and just make one.
